There are 5
Advertisement Zones around teh Machines Don't Cry web poster and menu. The Ad
Zones and their cost is as follows:
A. Ad Top Zone is a 1000x100
pixel block above the poster @ $3 per 10x10 pixels
($300 minimum per
100 pixel block)
B. Ad Right Zone is a 300x800 pixel
block to the right of the poster @ $2 per 10x10 pixels
($200 minumum
per 100 pixel block)
C. Ad Zone 1 is a 1000x200 pixel
block below the poster @ $1 per 10x10 pixels
($100 minumum per 100
pixel block)
D. Ad Zone 2 is a 1000x500 pixel block
below the poster @ $0.50 per 10x10 pixels
($50 minumum per 100 pixel
block)
E. Ad Zone 3 is a 1000x500 pixel block below the
poster @ $0.20 per 10x10 pixels
($20 minumum per 100 pixel
block)
·The minimum purchase depends on the advertisement zones described
above (paragraphs A, B, C, D, and E) and the maximum purchase is whatever is
left within the respective advertisement zone.
·When you 'buy' my
pixels you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or this site, but rather you
are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published
on the homepage in the respective space you have paid for
·You cannot change the
image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image
& link you want on the homepage, which will be there for at least 5 years.
·If your image and link
are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund
·The site and homepage
will be online for at least 5 years (starting from the day it launched), so at
least until 22 April 2011.
·No obscene/offensive/adult/racist/hate-filled images/links will be
accepted, and I decide what is appropriate for my site. If you submit an image
or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an
alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your pixels
·If your link is
accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show
offensive/obscene/adult/racist/hate-filled material, then your link will be
removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind
for the link downtime.
·If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link
removed from the homepage, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and
the space will become publically available again
·Images must be the
exact size you have paid for (eg. 100 pixels = 10x10 pixels)
·Images must be in GIF
or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size
·Images must NOT be
animated (imagine how messy the homepage would look)
·Links must be to web
pages only and begin with http://
·You must have the authority to provide the
image and link for the website you submit
·Funds must be fully
recieved and cleared before your pixels go live on the homepage
·There might be
occasional downtime for site maintenence but I'll try and keep these to a
minimum. However, you will not get a refund of any kind for the link
downtime.
·Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (eg. in my PayPal
or bank account), I will aim to get your pixels online within 48-96hrs (but
please have patience if demand for pixel ads is great and many people or
organizations order at the same time).
·Grid placement is on a first come first server
basis.
·You are ready to order.
Instructions
Send an e-mail to robottrooper@comcast.net providing the
information and attachments below.
1. Attach in your e-mail, your
JPEG, GIF, or PNG ad.
2. Specify which Ad Zone and area of the grid
within that zone you want your image to appear (example: Top Zone, top 500, left
400). This is the fastest method.
Alternatives:
2a. Do a
right click on the Machines Don't Cry background of the website and save the
picture on your computer desktop or any folder. Using a picture editor
like MS Paint, MS Photo Editor or Right Hemisphere Deep Paint, mark the unused
blocks that you want to advertise on. E-mail the edited Machines Don't Cry
background to robottrooper@comcast.net.
2b. If you have problems
getting the background or don't know how, I can e-mail the Machines Don't Cry
background to you provided that you e-mail your request to
robottrooper@comcast.net.
3. Specify the URL that the image will
link to. (example: http://www.robotspacetrooper or
http://www.machinesdontcry.com).
4. Specify a short title for your
pixels (100 characters or less).
5. Note that grid placement is on
a first come first serve basics.
